Biologist, Conservation Advocate, and Environmental Educator
I grew up immersed in nature, which inspired my artistic endeavors as well as those in science. From an early age, I felt a strong sense of connection with animals and used my keen observational skills both to incorporate them into artworks and also to study their behavior. I went on study both biology and art in high school and college, and received degrees in both fields. For me, the two fields are beautifully interwoven and positively influence each other. I have worked in art galleries, at nature centers, and for conservation groups advocating for the environment.
My current work centers around wildlife conservation and environmental education. I use my natural gifts to connect with people through kindness and storytelling to inspire people of all ages to care about nature and all of its beautiful creatures. I believe that we all have the power to make a difference and help wildlife, the environment, and in doing so help each other. Helping people to reignite a sense of connection with nature, and inspire them to care for and support wildlife, is what drives me in life.
